the woman who designed this DIY, folding-invitation template is named Amanda, which must mean she's a genius. also, the invites are ridiculously cute, and are making me think about ways i can cut down on the work of making/folding/printing a million invites.
i was also reading the other day about someone who used their sewing machine to make perforations in their invites so the RSVP card could be easily torn off and sent back. i like the ides of using my machine on invites anyway; i like the way thread and paper look together, and it's an unusual way to add color and texture to paper. i might need to go buy some random paper and pull out my machine and experiment.
